Who should do this course?
This course is for rural retail staff who are likely to be working in a customer-facing role in an agrichemical retail store and are advising others on the safe use of agrichemicals. They may have responsibility for managing a bulk storage facility on site.

Course content
The Supplier programme consists of three modules:

Retail supply
Covering storage in particular, this module covers the requirements of Certified Handler for agrichemicals and other common hazardous substances in store. Transport responsibilities and legal responsibilities relating to the sale of products are also covered.

Knowledge of agrichemicals
Key learning outcomes of this module are an understanding of mode of action, formulation, environmental degradation and the role of adjuvants.

Planning and application
This module focuses on the comprehensive understanding of key sources of information including spray plans, labels and other sources of product information. Topics such as resistance management and nozzle selection are covered in terms of their relevance to label recommendations.
