Introductory Manual

This is the online version of the manual for the standard Introductory course.

The manual introduces you to agrichemicals – how they work and what they are made of – and then looks at the risks associated with agrichemical use and how to mitigate these risks during the different activities involved in agrichemical use.

There are three main factors to consider:

1. safety of people – the user and others
2. safety of the environment – avoiding the risks of spraydrift and spills
3. safety of the food chain – avoiding residues in food.
